I need some advice on what areas in East Mesa, Gilbert, or Chandler would be the best fit for me. I recently got a job in Apache Junction and will be moving out there in about a month. I am 25 and single and won't know anyone in the area. I want to find a safe area with at least some entertaining things to do. But I also don't want to have more than a 30 minute commute to work. Any advice on specific areas or even apartment complexes would be appreciated! I'd like to stay in the $600-700/month range. Thanks!

It really depends on what you want to do. If you are from the east valley area you understand how spread out it actually is. The communities are safe as most are under 20 years old. The further north, north east you begin to run into areas that have been around a little bit longer than others. Anything in particular you like to do that might help with more details? Power rd just south of the 60 up to guadalupe have a few complexes around the $700 range.
