Is the area around 1920 West Isabella Av in Mesa an ok area to stay? We're looking at long stay motels for our visit soon.

Alternatively how about 2350 West Obispo Av in Gilbert? Can we assume all areas in Gilbert are safe?

many thanks

Either would be ok, any reason that you are looking to stay in those specific areas? The Mesa one would be closer to Fiesta Mall and the freeway.

Thanks, we're interested in Mesa as a place to live permanently, though we are keeping our options very open.

For our initial stay we just want make sure we're safe and secure

Yeah I don't see any reason that you would have to worry about security it those areas. I live out in North East Mesa, it is nice out here but for me it is just to far from my job so I will be eventually moving into Scottsdate.
