Call your local Costco. Prices are not the same at all Costcos everywhere for many things they sell. Your local Costco will have a number listed that goes directly to their pharmacy. Also remember that you have to have a Costco membership to use their pharmacy.

Is there any difference in the quality of pharmacists from a real doctor's vs a place like Costco?

It just makes me nervous going into a big box store to get a shot.

Correction you do not have to be a Costco or Sam's club member to use their pharmacy, or buy liquor. The snack bars, too! I believe there are times when members can gift people with a discounted memberships. Let your friends and family know you're interested. My family is decidedly not interested. They go to their closest market and feel that the gasoline savings negate a membership unless you a running a business.

I had shingles when I was 43 years old. I have to admit that it was one of the more unpleasant weeks of my life. I was recuperating from surgery, my back was killing me, and a bout of shingles. It was pretty unpleasant.

If you have shingles and are using capsasin cream, make sure your skin is bone dry before applying it.

My MD was less than enthusiastic about giving me the shingles vaccine. He did not really feel that the vaccine was effective and it was costly.

The Sam's Club I checked is near 17th Ave and West Bell.

How do you get into Costco without showing the membership card?????

Suggest you check with your insurance company about coverage. I got my shingles shot at a pharmacy and had to pay full price. Was told by my insurance that if I had gotten it at doctor's office it would have been covered.

You tell the person at the door you are just going to the pharmacy where they don't check for membership. All other merchandise/food goes thru the regular checkout procedure where you need to provide your membership card.
