Hi!
I'm considering moving to Phoenix. I'm single with no children, so it's just a matter of me working up the nerve to pack up and go.
Are there any of you who live in an apartment that you would recommend to a woman who will be living alone?
I'd like to hear from people who actually live in the complex that they are referring to . I know there are apartment rating websites, but people usually use those sites to complain or to get even with a land lord who's wronged them. The information on those sites aren't very balanced.
I'm going to fly into Phoenix over the Memorial Day weekend, and I'd like to check out a few places.
Do you live in a complex where you feel safe? Is it maintained well?
I've been considering the Ahwatukee area, but I'm open. I'd
LOVE to find a studio apartment as I do not need much space and I want an affordable electric bill in the summer. If I must get a 1 bedroom, I will. My budget is no more than $700 a month for rent.
(Yes, I know it's hot in Phoenix. I'm a native Texan and I've endured 100+ temps every summer for over 40 years, so the heat doesn't scare me.
