Does anyone know of any place to swim a dog preferably in north Phoenix. I have an older Golden Retriever who needs to get some of his muscles firing. Thx

Gilbert has a dog pond. Cosmo dog park. It might be easier to get to Lake Pleasant from north Phoenix though.

Yeah, as far as I am aware Cosmo is the only dog park with a place for swimming. It would be a pretty long drive if your in north Phoenix.

Find someone who is willing to let your dog use their pool. With a leash, and a doggie life preserver vest, you can do laps with him. Lakes in urban parks (including the dog park lake) are prone to parasites, especially in the warmer weather.
