No, the McDonalds was in the ground floor of that building, on Central. That building at 1st Ave and VB is a black hole for restaurants, but McDonald's wasn't one of them. The YMCA is a block north on the west side of 1st Ave. The old federal courthouse, now the bankruptcy court, is across from that vacant restaurant space.
