Rumor is that Microsoft is locating a large new data center off of I-17 and Union Hills. While these don't bring a huge amount of jobs, we'll take them right? And the name dropping is always good...Apple...Microsoft...Tesla would have really been nice too.

New jobs is always good. It said they are also looking at an east valley location which I think would be a better fit for them. There seems to be more IT talent in the chandler\scottsdale area

I17 and Union Hills is call center country

Where did it say they are looking in the east valley? It said they already leased space at the I-17/Union Hills locations. A different company is looking at space in the easy valley if I read the article right.

And I like that they are going in that part of Phoenix. It needs it. I'm annoyed that everything end up in the east valley.
