I saw on the news tonight that Google is going to be testing driverless cars in Phoenix.
I can't wait to buy one! Enjoy a glass of wine and let your car do all the work.
And if the cops pull you over for speeding you have the perfect excuse. "It wasn't me officer, it's like the car has a mind of it's own!"

I think it's great! Certainly can't be any worse than many of the drivers I now see blithely texting away,reading,eating and yakking with their passengers/phone all while
attempting to drive.
Maybe now cars will maintain speed
and their lanes?

Maybe these driverless cars will get all the "I hate driving" people off the road. They can now text and put their makeup on to their heart's content, w/o endangering our lives. Bring on the driverless cars, I say!

I love driving when it's not Rush Hour. I dread automated cars as they will kill driving for those that actually enjoy it.
