Meh. That was 16 minutes long and less than a minute of it was actually him talking about Phoenix, and when he was, he was just making fun of people.

This is true and Bill acknowledges this in the video. He says it's because there is nothing to do or see in Phoenix. I have to agree but I live here for the cheap cost of living, scenic outdoors and good weather, not tourist attractions.

If one's focus is on retail and nothing else in just about any city/metro in the US, I suppose that's true.
It's like driving around NYC and saying "I see the same yellow cab over and over again". Superficial viewing/observations creates superficial conclusions I suppose so we shouldn't be surprised.
