LMAO I glanced at the title of this thread and thought it said, "Did you get laid due to Covid-19?"

I was laid off on March 20. I filed for UI during my final shift. I've received two payments so far from the state but only one payment of $600 from the feds. It's really crazy how slow the process is and I'm skeptical that the feds will actually make good on their end of the bargain. We all know who that stimulus package was intended for and who it wasn't intended for.

OP, Surmising that you drive a truck for a living? OTR or regional?
I was under the impression the need for good truck drivers was greater than ever.

Care to go into more details?

My wife was furloughed...back to work now after her employer got their PPP loan. She got SOME of her back benefits but not all. AZ's $220 unemployment insurance payment is a joke though.

Just remember you are going to get taxed on all of this.

The bill wasn't signed into effect until March 27th so you wouldn't have received the $600 for the first week.
