Need to replace underlayment on our house under the tile roof. It's all our cost, and an expensive one at that! I am not concerned about getting the lowest quote, as I would prefer good material, workmanship are used. Just want to see if people have recommendations for companies and things I should be looking for in such a job. Seems to be a variety in types of underlayment companies recommend, which is interesting.

So far I have received quotes from JBS roofing and All About Roofing here in the West Valley.

Thanks!

I got a few quotes and as you say, ouch! One you might check is Gary and Son in Buckeye. They have a stellar reputation here in Estrella but their quote was the highest mostly because of the high end methods and materials. They quote TU43 underlayment which is an elastomeric variant that will probably last beyond 30 years. Me, I won't last that long and am looking for the cheaper solutions.

Expensive for sure!

One quote we had was for titanium UDL 50 underlayment. Lifetime warranty and transferable one time if we sold the house. We’re young and it only cost $1k more than mat quote from different company.

I recommend this store but it's in the East Valley.
Floor Depot - A New Way To Buy Flooring

They have a great selection of tile for under $2 a foot. They can also help with installation which will cost about $3.25 a sq ft.

Not cheap but not too expensive either and it will be done right.

Their quote was actually less than 2 others and are using better products.

Thanks so much!
