I will be in the area from 22-29 of October. Zip code 85253 and am willing to travel up to an hour.

Looking for spooky or scary Halloween events to attend.

Thank you

The Desert Botanical Garden has its Strange Garden the weekend that begins your stay and its Dia de los Muertos event the weekend that ends it: https://dbg.org/explore/events/

The Mesa Arts Center also has a Dio le los Muertos event: https://mesaartscenter.com/diadelosmuertos

McCormack Stillman Railroad Park has an event that runs most nights in October: https://www.therailroadpark.com/?post_type=event&p=1410

Of all the events listed here, it's the railroad one that is the most kid-oriented. If you're not traveling with children, it might be a little weird to go there. All the other events are designed for attendees of all ages.

Acres of stuff, hundreds of actors. But, be forewarned, it is not for the weak of heart.
