Farmer's Markets (Phoenix: agricultural, best, pictures)

Hi all,

Any tips on great farmer's markets in the Phoenix and surrounding areas?

Wondering if there are any great ones to get weekly fruits and vegetables.

There are none that I would consider great, but a few that are mildly enjoyable.

The best known is probably the Downtown Phoenix Public Market. It's the most bustling, especiallly on Saturday mornings. The major drawback is that craft vendors often outnumber actual agricultural vendors.

Here's a listing of some others around town. Keep in mind that several are closed during the summer, although the Downtown one mentioned above operates year-round.
