I keep reading on some of these posts that it is easier for men to live in the Phoenix area, that it is for women. Why is that? No one seems to give a clear reason, as to why. thanks,

I think you might be referring to the post on the "I hate Phoenix' thread. The poster said that it's harder for women due to the keeping up your appearance factor. I guess lots of plastic surgery and trying to keep a youthful appearance. I think that's the only reason.

Thank you, smallvillefan, for the clarification.

My wife has long hair, she likes to wear make-up. She likes sandles. These things
don't fair to well here.
A fellow I met when I first moved here stated, "Sure nice to see a lady with long hair and a dress. Most of the girls here look like men from behind.
It's hard to be cool and comfortable at 111 degrees.
Men can slick it back, or cut it off. Comfort comes alot easier.

As a single guy I find that the women here in phoenix are much more plentiful than back east where I'm from! So I guess there is a lot of competition for women if that's what you mean.
