Wife and I are finally doing it. Not that!!! We are joining the snowbird Winter migration to AZ. from Arkansas. I can just FEEL your joy for us. Brother has a place in Apache Jct & wants us to go there. We want a second (or many) opinion(s). We have heard a LOT about the Casa Grande area. Sounds really good to us. We will need to rent a 2 bdrm, furnished place for Jan, Feb. and March for our first tryout. We love neighbors and activity around us, not isolation. We love the Southwest and will be outdoors a lot. We do not like water sports. Any and all information from you locals will be mighty helpful. ( I think?? ) Anxiously awaiting your input. Jack

Jack,

You might want to try Rentals.com to find a furnished place. Jan/Feb/March is the expensive time to visit!

There are lots of winter visitors in Apache Junction. It is probably the most affordable place because there are lots of trailers/manufactured homes in the area. You'll also enjoy beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains.

Enjoy!
