There is all this talk of theme parks coming or not coming to phoenix, but most of the ideas for the parks are somewhat lame. People go to theme parks to have fun, not to be educated.

Phoenix really needs a good theme park, something like a Six Flags.

What would be great is a indoor snowboarding park, like in dubai.

I second the indoor park... I'm moving to Phoenix from Ohio, and I'm not sure how far of a drive Snowbowl is from the area, but I'm assuming it's not an awesome drive.

The upside is that flights from Phoenix to Tahoe, or Park City are a lot less expensive, and shorter, than from Cleveland, OH!

As far as amusement parks... I'm going to REALLY miss heading up to Cedar Point 5 times a summer over here... ugh.

Wonder what ever happened to that "rock & roll theme park" which was supposed to happen down in Eloy? You know, the one with Fats Domino, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis Pelvis, Buddy Holly, and Tina Turner on Mount RockMore?

Who knows, and who cares honestly, it sounded like a horrible idea for a theme park IMO.

Now this is one area we agree on, Josh.

So why did legend city close? They closed in the 60's, times are different now, maybe we could manage a theme park in the summer, if they use enough shading devices and misters I think it would be fine.

I go to castle and coasters in the summer sometimes when I do respite with kids, it's still fun regardless of the heat.
