I would suggest calling your local Police Department Non-Emergency Number or the Mayor's Office, explain your situation and request the proper procedure for a lost ticket.

Good Luck
I just got a ticket while on route to Showlow. It was an obvious speed trap and the speed dropped from 65 to 45 as soon as you entered Show Low city limits. Yeah, I was pretty angry, I drove safe and slow that entire trip and allowed people to pass me and I got a ticket coming into the city. I'm not happy about it but not paying it carries risks. Everyone's case varies. I know people who threw the ticket away and nothing happened to them. I have another close friend who found out the hard way when he was applying for a lease and he discovered his license had been suspended and he had a court date. He was never served by a process server and thought he dodged it. It depends on what you are willing to risk and your situation. For me, it isn't worth it. Yes, it upset me greatly but the risk of having my license suspended or being pulled over and then having the cop realize my license was suspended is not worth the risk. You can do driving school on-line and it's only a 4 hour session.

This is a myth. My wife got a ticket on the 101 going 77 in the 65 and it most certainly went on her record and raised her points. We heard the same and did nothing by just paying the ticket. Do the driving school. It's on-line now so it's not like you have to waste a Saturday morning and show up to some hotel lobby.

I gravitate to any state forum with moving violation issues, to gauge whether or not it would be worth the risk of visiting there or what to expect.

I'm sure others do likewise.
Eventually, I would like to move back to Phoenix. All my friends and family are there so I am all alone up here. However, I do not know what I would do there anymore. My main job was always being a courier (delivery driving using your own vehicle). To do that, I need to be able to move quickly throughout the Phoenix metro area. My friend said the photo radar keeps getting worse and worse causing traffic jams everywhere. I always got paid by commission so this would really hurt me. I sincerely hope they remove these cameras soon.

I think photo radar will eventually be eliminated but it's still 2 years away from that being accomplished at the earliest. From all that I've read and gathered, we are only in the beginning stages of getting it removed.

I liked the ideas of cameras instead of cops hanging around and creeping behind any bushes or trees, like they do here in Minnesota.

I'm fine with cameras but I don't like speed traps. Not every place with cameras have speed traps but some places do like on the 51 and when you go to places like Payson and Showlow. You could be comfortably driving 70 mph in a 65 and if you aren't paying attention and the speed limit hits 55, you are nailed!

I've gotten numerous speed camera tickets and none have ever went on my record or raised my points...but I also haven't paid them. By paying them you're admitting guilt and I can see how it will go on your record! All the better to ignore the frickin things.

I don't think that the photo radar is going anywhere honestly. It's a nice little cash cow for the state government and I think they're going to refine the ticket processing and collections process to ultimately get more bang for their buck.
