It was about 112 and windy. The wind picked up so much the buildings downtown became a dust cloud in a matter of about 15 minutes.

Why did MGotcha say it was in May? Was he/she referring to different photos? Great shots by the way! Love hiking during the summer, the trails are far less busy in July and August save the occasions when out-of-towners have to be rescued because they took a water bottle up with them!!!

I took these Photos myself sometime early April (not exactly sure, camera clock is always off!). The trails on the north side of the Squaw Peak area are always quiet, even during the cooler part of the year. Not like the summit trail, which is a great climb but needs traffic lights! I live by the end of 32nd street and hike often when the kids are in school. Not so much during the summer!

Dang 112, I could never do that. I get overheated walking from the car to the front door.
