I have 2 daughters, age 10 & 5 that both love to dance. We are relocating to Arizona, North Phoenix to be exact, and would love any input on dance studios. We have scoped out 2 on the internet, but we really don't know the inside scoop. Dance is very important to them, the oldest has been competing for 5 years now, and the youngest has been dancing since she was 2.

what kind of dance are they into? if they want classical ballet technique there are some excellent training schools, but there are also lots of dance schools offereing a varietry of styles and usually have a dance company who preform in competitions if they are interested in that aspect.

I teach at a dance studio in Northwest Phoenix. Not sure if you're going to want to drive out to Surprise, but it's called A Time To Dance Performing Arts Studio. We've been open almost a year now (yay!) and things are going well-all of our teachers have been dancing for years and are experienced.
