Hello everyone, I am kind of in a pinch here. I just got to Phoenix today and will be trying to find a place to live this weekend and will be going home Monday evening. I am relocating from Albuquerque New Mexico, and need to find a place QUICK! I am 24, single and will be working in 85029 zip code. I have been looking at Apts. around this area and havent really been too impressed. I am not looking to spend more than $600 a month. I would like to be close to nightlife. Well I guess thats all. Any suggestlons

Although not in your desired zip code, Promontory Point apts are very close to that area, I lived there a few years ago, they are nice....thay back up to the North Mountain area. Also Mirador apts very close as well. Bella Vista is a bit further away but very convenient to the 51...these are all Equity Residential apts. The one bdrms were priced right around 600.

I'm not sure how impressive any apartments are going to be at that price range. That zip code is older so many of the places are going to look run down on the outside. Its not a terrible area but I think the areas around cactus-peoria / 28th Drive / metrocenter - are better than the areas further south.

Well, I used to live around Bell Rd. in northern Phoenix and there were some really nice apartments from $550-$750 and very near the nightlife too.

The apartment I used to live in, in that area, I was only paying $700 a month. I was across the street from Copper's Bar & Grill, about 1 mile from Brennan's Pub & Grub, about 2-3 miles from Brigittes Last Laugh Bar & Grill, and about 4 miles from Steel Horse Saloon and Hardtailz. Those were nice bars and clubs to go out in the weekends and for watching sports (most were sports bar places, except Steel Horse and Hardtailz).

But pretty much anywhere, in Phoenix, is close to the nightlife activities and such. So, just look around, go and ask, and find what you like....Good luck

I also used to live around the MetroCenter area (near Deer Valley, Crossroads Apartments). Check them out and they are real close to the nightlife activities also (Steel Horse Saloon, Hardtailz, Applebee's, Dave's Place Bar, and a few others on that side that I don't remember the names anymore (it was 7 years ago when I lived in this area for a few month). And there's lots of apartments there too. But check out Crossroads Apartments, it's really nice (has 2 swimming pools, I think a tennis court, and 1-2 bedroom style apartments).
