That's too bad. But I'm sure you'll have plenty of pictures for the Winter contest!
We only get one season here...summer. Guess, I'll be waiting a while for that one.
I was thinking of everyone else! I'm in Florida - barely any signs of Autumn here.
Any suggestions?
I gave you rep points for doing a fine job.
There are only a few of us who live in extreme climates like Alaska and Florida, so I don't think there is any sufficient reason to go changing it.

Well it's Spring here 2g so any picture I take this month wouldn't qualify as Autumn, however I do have some fantastic pictures from last Autumn, only I can't post them because they don't fit the time criteria.
So I'm not sure, perhaps a choice needs to be made about theme vs time frame in order for all to participate in the theme?
I mean would it be an issue if people submitted pics to the theme and then had to provide a date so that everyone knows when they were taken?
After thinking about our situation, I've come to the conclusion that Alaska and Florida
participators can still join in by showing the world what November means in your home-state.
For example; here in Florida panhandle, it's all about the wildflowers, seafood festivals, horse
shows, deer hunting and of course a national holiday - Thanksgiving.
Moonshadow - Absolutely NOT! The general rule is all photographs must be fresh during
the contest time frame.

Reason: added deer hunting
Oh well guess that counts all the Southern Hemisphere folk out of all the season threads.
No, I don't think so! Read my message above. You can share what is
happening in your home state during these months and holidays.
If you wanted to share with the world how you celebrate Thanksgiving,
how would you get the picture across?
When I lived in Coral Springs/Broward County,FL, at Christmas Eve, there
was no "white Christmas" but something unique happening was the residential streets were lined up with brown lunch bags filled with sand and a lit candle. It was beautiful! This is what I would enter into the contest for Christmas in Florida.
Use your imagination.
