Great shots, but that sure is one sad lookin' Bluejay!
They're always going after each other around here so I figure he was the loser a few times. I've seen a few that have been to battle but I do believe that's the first time I've seen one that had lost almost every single feather on it's head. He was quite the willing subject since he was sitting up there waiting for a peanut. He sat there and stared at me practically the whole time I was shooting except to turn his head a couple of times as if he were thinking, "Well, where's the food?"
Bloody things will sit up there and screech until somebody tosses them some peanuts.
