Best digital cameras under $100? (Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Kodak)

My little Kodak Easyshare has been awesome these last few years, but it has a crack in it & sadly needs replaced. Can anyone recommend one under $100 that takes great pics & videos like my dying Easyshare and is easy w/ uploading to the PC & etc? Mine is a few years old, should I just get the newest model?
I take mostly LOTS of family & outdoor pictures & videos, not needing anything fancy, just reliable! Thanks for any help!

I would say any model you find by Canon on sale for close to $100 with IS (image stabilization) will be a good deal. They consistently get the highest ratings for image quality, and their low end models are typically well made and easy to use.
