Everts Air Cargo has a fleet of DC-6's. Norther Air Cargo also has a fleet but are on a limited flight status. They acquired a few Boeing 737-200s now and those take most of the loads around the state. When needed, they'll use the Six for short runways like the Air Force DEW lines across the state and a few gold mines.
Wow, I was under the impression there are very few DC-6's left that are still operating, but I didn't know Norther Air Cargo operates a fleet of them. I would love to see those classic airliners, especially the Lockheed L-1049 Constellation.
I also know that many older jetliners, like the Boeing 707 (the 1XX, 32X and 4XX) variants) DC-8 and DC-9, are still operating commercial routes in different countries around the world, FedEx and DHL still operate Boeing 727's and DC-9's on some shorter routes also. You can definitely identify the Pratt and Whitney JT-8 engines on the 727 by their roar, when they fly above the area I live in on Sunday afternoons, and they're at close to 10,000 feet! They're definitely much louder than their newer Boeing siblings.

I would love to travel just outside Phoenix and hit the boneyard there in the desert. I forgot what the name was of the place, but they have a huge amount of old planes i'd love to take pictures of.

There are two of them actually, and I believe they're used by the Air Force and for commercial jetliners. They do remove major components from them before they're crushed. The "bone yard" is located about 100 miles southeast of Phoenix, just north of Tucson. You'd be better off flying into Tucson then driving about 15-20 miles northwest of Tucson Intl. There's also a storage facility where many airlines store their equipment, it's in Marana. It's definitely the place to be if you're an aviation enthusiast.
I'm heading back down in the spring, driving to Montana from Alaska. I did this back in August of this year. I'm planning on taking a side trip to Wichita and points south or east of there, I'm going to try and work that part in on the way back north, can't wait.
Okay, it's my turn. I love aviation and anything that flies, especially jetliners. I'll post images from my flight simulator.
First, we'll start with a real picture - I'm standing dreaming (and drooling too) about flying this baby, Air Force One.
Flying on the simulator is as close to flying the real thing, in fact, many people say flying on a simulator is tougher than flying the real thing.
"American 772 heavy, clear to land runway 25 right" - I'm bringing the Boeing 777-200 on final approach to Las Vegas McCarren Intl. I think I'll hit a couple of virtual casinos and watch virtual people lose their virtual money..
With reverse thrust engaged and spoilers deployed, I'm bringing the 777 to a full stop.
Then I flew this majestic bird to Honolulu. Making the turn to approach Honolulu Intl.
Not long before that, I flew my Boeing 747-400 to Honolulu, here's the "Queen of the Skies" turning for heading 79 degrees for pattern entry into Honolulu.
I think I'll spend a few days here and relax on the virtual beach!
