Don't know what these kind of flowers are called, but they seemed photogenic to me

PhotoGal: That image has a lot going for it. Nice composition. The only thing that bugs me is the water. There isn't enough contrast between the pads and the water's surface. A polarizing filter would have been very useful in that situation!

Thanks, Lunar Delta. The fact is that I was using a circular polarizing filter. It was a very bright day too. Perhaps I could have done something in the post processing, but I know very little about even my PSE software and don't seem to have a lot of patience when it comes to learning it. I'd rather be out taking pictures.
