Hmm. Funny, none of the homes I have lived in ever had one of these. Unless it is the inside of the bottom of something because I sure don't recognize it. Based on the stray (pubish looking) hair, I am going to guess it comes from the bathroom area?
OMG...you had me laughing at your post! That is sooooo funny!! I suppose it could be facial hair too--beards can resemble pube hair!! SO still..why would it be there? I've got to think this one over.......................
I am going with an answering machine ... with an ear hair. Sorry to keep harping on the hair bit. I shall refrain from any further comments on stray hairs.
I just looked at my land phone and it sure looks like the receiver part of the phone--where you hear the other person talking! This may be what Bydand already said.
