I've got a question to those who deal with photo editing. I want to add color splash effect to some of my photos. I found some paid tools but I won't use it often so there is no reason to pay much. Could you please suggest me any free or not expesive options?
P.S. Mac compatible.

GIMP is a free & Open Source Image Editor with a lot of capabilities. It's worth learning to use it. https://www.gimp.org/

Ms_Christina a few posts above showed the GIMP URL for color splash.

Some other articles on color splash.

Thanks for the answers!
I've found this photo software https://macphun.com/luminar/color-splash and downloaded 30 days free trial. Quite happy with it, but I suppose I'll switch to free GIMP.
And one more thank you for articles, found interesting tech resources among them.
