Nice shot Nephler. Let me guess, Boulevard Drive to the West of St. Ignace... down by the point?

What I think is great is how few people know that this beasty of a bridge joins 2 "cities" that are small. As in less than 2500 for St. Ignace and less than 1000 for Mackinaw City. Elsewhere in the Country any bridge this size joins big metro areas.

Yep, you got the location correct, nice, not many know of that area.
I hadn't been down there in quite a few years, it's changed a bit, more homes and it seems like there was more sand in areas.
And to think it's the third longest suspension bridge in the world and longest between anchorages in the Western hemisphere.

Just an old highway that is now a pedestrian bridge.

A small limestone bridge in Eastern Kansas.

The bottom two pictures are just of a small trail bridge.

I could easily photoshop the dirt specks out, but I'm lazy.

Here is an image I took in September 2010 of the Hoffstadt Bridge in Washington State - USA on the Spirit Lake Memorial Highway - which is the highway that takes you to Mt. St. Helens. A very scenic highway that is well worth the drive if you're ever in the neighborhood.

This photo below is one of the many stonework bridges along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and North Carolina - USA
