Ok guys, climbing high with heavy cameras was fun, wasn't it? Let's try to climb the stair, or not, how about just showing stairs?

Stairs, stairways, staircases, you name it. I'd like to see some moody, urban type photos. Heavier editing is allowed for some dramatic results.
Let's go!!

I have a wonderful, colorful photo of stairs but can't post it here because it isn't fresh. Darn!

Well, shimp8 and PhotoGal, i'm sure you can find some stairs in the future

Katie, i don't expect a magic, if you can't do it, it's understandable, may be next time or next subject

I got a little work out today getting this but I know I needed it. Found these stairs at a county park and knew immediately this was it. Entitled "Stairway to Heaven". Shot 3 stops under to keep the sky from washing out. The stairs had a little computer fill flash applied to give a hint of the steps and the sky had to be edited just a touch to give some definition to the clouds. Because it was exposed according to the sky area there is only a minimal amout of editing with this one. 24mm lens, f16, 1/125 sec, ISO 50, tripod, cable release.

These are stairs that go down from the street to the seawall along the river. I was too lazy to goto the top, but I took the picture from near the bottom step looking up. I don't know who the kid was coming down, I didn't see him until I took the picture.
