I don't know about that one but I do have a PowerShot A710is that I really like...it now lives in my purse and goes everywhere with me.

I also just got a Rebel Xti and love it but will baby it a bit more than just throwing it in the old purse.

There's a very good Cannon forum pm me for the url.

I didnt really look up any info on that camera and know that Canons are pretty good cameras. Im more of a Kodak or Olympus person though, and what really makes the difference is the size of pixels you get with you camera. My first digital was a 2 pixel, now outdated for years and Ive been looking for something 7 or better. I also still use my 35mm a lot.

Anyone know what is the largest size memory card (SD card) I can use in the camera? I heard it can take 2 GB, anyone know if it can go bigger?

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. This has the only real wide angle zoom (28mm in old money) in the current Canon line-up and replaces the SD800 (basically the same but 1MP less) that my wife has been using for over a year now and produces fabulous results. Small enough for a shirt pocket too.

There simply aren't enough 28mm wide compacts on the market (hardly any in fact) and the extra wide zoom capability just makes them so versatile in everyday situations.

Good camera, good price.

I have one and I'm pretty happy with it. It's portable, takes great pics, I take it everywhere. I don't, however, have any of the optional lenses, so I can't comment on that or if they're worth the dinero.

Optional lenses? I thought this was a compact.
