An example of a seeing red photo that was a bear to salvage. There is a lot of red here but that's not the only reason for the post. This is shot in a dark arena to the camera. It was shot in RAW and the exposure was 2 or more stops under ideal. ISO at 3200 and a shutter of 250 with a f2.8 lens. That created a lot of noise. Really ugly noise. In these circumstances it's tough and editing can help a lot but still not deliver anywhere close to studio or prime outside daylight images. The thing to remember is that the 15 year old kid on this bull has a memento that he will remember for ever. I'm not sure what colors are going through his head at a moment like this but even that may have been red as in blood red???
