Here is where we can discuss January In Your Home State contest. The reason we do this, is to keep the actual contest thread clean and clear of texting as later will be turned into a poll. Even after the poll is step up, you can use this thread for "Great picture" etc.

For January in Your Home State/Country, and yes, including Canada and world wide. This contest is very diversified. Anything goes. However you want to translate your surrounding beauty.

Remember, we are a team. I am just doing the paperwork here. Open for discussion.

This contest will open on January 1st and be totally completed by January 31st with winners. For the poll, how many days do we need for the voting process? I would like to make a standard date for each month.

Enjoy!

Bibit,
May I ask why you would prefer one post per person?

There are too many entries and it disperses the vote, IMO. I would rather go over 20 entries from 20 people than 70 from the same 20. By the time I get to the bottom, I forget which one I really liked. It's just hard to compare, that's all, plus I think it makes people put their all in their ONE entry than if they had three.

Well we could just limit it to 2 photos per contestant. Be like most contests. When I enter pictures at the fair I am allowed 2 photos but in 2 different catagories. But seems this is just a single catagory have it 2 entries only. Ths way if someone enters one now and later decides he or she wants a different photo in the running they can do that.
I know this will make it hard for all the talent out here. But it makes you judge what you feel is your best work for the contest.

Just my $.02

This thought I agree with, so I think it's up to .04 cents now.

I agree with you as well, that's why I removed 3 or 4 of my pics prior to the poll being set up and only leaving 2 to be judged.
