I have to say this would be the one. What a beauty. It's in my neighborhood and I got to witness the transformation years ago as the owners painstakingly and lovingly brought it back. It is for sale- if only I had the dough!

841 Suismon rocks! I love that house. Its like a miniature Allegheny West mansion.

Rhondee, its embarassing but I also know the history of your dream house in Bellevue. It was the home of Michael Simon who owned the Eagle Planing Mill on Anderson street in Allegheny City. He made doors, window frames and other interior wood trim. That house is a showcase of what his company could make and is unbelievable inside. I think it was built in 1897, right before he died.

So many of those rowhouses in the Fifth/Forbes corridor in that Uptown/Hill District/Soho area look marvelous when traveling from Oakland to Downtown or vice versa.

In getting specific, though, I'd throw my vote in for a couple of places south of the Mon: that 19th century building right around 320 Arlington Ave, and, though it doesn't look quite as nice on the outside, the boarded up place at the corner of St. Thomas and Regina....what a view they have up there!.

I wish someone would do something with that big yellow house in Manchester. It's been empty for years and would make an amazing place fixed up.

It appears to be in pretty good shape, as if it was restored not too long ago. I wonder why no one is living there?

I have always been fond of this property in Fox Chapel.

Even the guest house has it's own built in swimming pool.

There's a house in Point Breeze on the corner of Reynolds and Linden that has a little bridge from the second floor to a garage-top patio that I always thought was a neat touch. It's a pretty elegant house and it has nice landscaping.

This one in Highland Park is nice too. It reminds me of The Munsters.
