Yeah, and did Mr. Shields previously visit the massage parlor? I'm sure his wife would want to know.

Sounds like he's notrunning for office because he's afraid of being licked. Of course, the masseuses would have his back.

If this was really about human/child trafficking, it'd be the FBI doing the investigating and we wouldn't be reading about it until after multiple arrests were made.

This is political posturing in its most obvious form.

I agree, but what are their true motives? I have no problem with prostitution and think it should be legal in all forms. I do however have a problem with illegal immigrants being used as slaves, regardless of what ever profession they're in. They could just as easily be cracking down on landscapers and meat packing plants for doing the same thing. Massage parlors may be more seedy and will attract media attention, but all forms of forced work is horrific.

I agree with your post, but really, Velvet Jones? Were you at the Edison the other night?

This is almost as bad as the spokesperson from the Cultural Trust saying that a $700 million project two blocks away will be de-railed if the gentelman's club stays in operation any longer, even though it has been there forever. Quit sniveling and build this city.
