As a city taxpayer, if the police aren't being severely reprimanded for acts that cost the taxpayers a lot of money, this just isn't very acceptable.
The only way to have this conclude got to be with an actual civil trial with actual testimony and evidence, including testimony by the police brass. And if, as you opine, that the police officers were totally out of order- I would hope that the mayor would do some firings of police chiefs and commanders.
But I think its more likely that the insurance company and the city and Mr. Miles' attorneys will agree to a settlement sometime before next June, the taxpayers will pay, and everyone will go home.

wpipkins racist! come on now. I have been called alot of things and racist is not one of them. I work with and have lots of white friends. None of them will call me racist.
