There is a rental agency in Wexford that specializes in home rentals. When I was looking at them about six years ago the prices were really high. A 1500 sf split usually went for around $2000-$2500. A four bedroom colonials were $3000-4000. These were nice, but not high end homes. I can see a 3000 sf home in a nice neighborhood easily fetching $4000 or more. Remember, taxes alone on that type of house will be close to $1000 a month, plus the mortgage.

Seems over inflated to me...I suppose some will charge rents as high as they can however...and take advantage of peoples desperation to locate a safe home for their families...not much unlike a slum landlord will do...
