Nice to see retail absorbing new construction fairly well. A lot of planned projects involve at least some retail (on ground floors and such).

Nice to know that vacancy here is lower than national average. I see a fair number of empties in some spots, even in popular corridors. But apparently it evens out.

You ain't seen retail vacancies until you've been to Atlanta. All over the metropolitan area are shopping plazas built within the last five to 10 years that have never been more than half-occupied. This is especially true in the exurban counties like Barrow, Walton, Cherokee, Coweta, Henry and Paulding.
