Any suggestions? Sometimes I enjoy being gluttonous. Huge portions and low price. Simple as that.

Sometimes I dont care about location, cleanliness, atmosphere, parking, decor, food presentation, organics, local food, etc. Just a huge gross pile of food for cheap. Help me out.

Go to Max's Allegheny Tavern for their Sunday brunch buffet. I don't recall the exact price, but if you're willing to pay, say $15-20 for truly amazing food (as opposed to $6 for the all-you-can-eat slop at a place like CiCi's) it's still an excellent value and there's a chance you won't come down with dysentery after your meal.

Spaghetti Warehouse. A big plate of overcooked pasta with bland sauce. Perfect Pittsburgh cuisine.

When I think of gorging, even though it is a chain Golden Corral. You can see all the Pittsburgh folks roaming around in pajama pants and sweats, but there is tons of food.

Lawl. Still better than places like the "heralded" LoBello's, or "pasta-out-of-the-box and sauce-out-of-the-jar" Del's, unless Restaurant Impossible actually cleaned up the mess of a place.

You should go! Their German food is truly excellent, and as far as menu options go, while you can go to town on a $20 sampler platter (which is still a great deal relative to the quantity and price), IIRC, you can get a knockwurst with side and beer and still spend under ten bucks (if you're a less generous tipper ).

I've never been to Penn Brewery, so I can't comment on their fare, but unless you want to just get drunk with friends, stay away from the Hofbrauhaus.

Yu's Old Town Buffet in Southland Shopping Center, King China Buffet on Noblestown Road, China Buffet in Century Square. All three have AMERICAN food as well as Chinese, but Yu's is the best. There are two counters strictly American and I can quite make a pig of myself at those two alone, haha.
Go between 11AM-3:30PM and you will pay less than $8. You can get 10% off coupons for the buffets from their websites as well!

You can fill up pretty cheaply at all-you-can-eat Indian buffets like that at India Garden in south Oakland.

Spak Brothers in Garfield. Get the large melt hoagies...with meat or seitan depending on your tastes. Fills me to the brim every time. With the buffalo sauce is the best. Yummm....
