I can list at least a half-dozen others from here whom I feel are quite worthy of being selected, assuming they enter themselves into the next contest. We also had a few regulars from Swisshelm Park (Faer? Scientist Mom?) who used to post on here who were extremely informative but have been AWOL as of late.
I think if prolific posters such as Joe Magarac, Tinare, and EveKendall post with greater frequency then they, too, could easily win $500. We have a lot of very bright, very helpful, and very informative people on our sub-forum.
I haven't entered myself into any more contests since I already one once in 2011 and want others who haven't won to have a greater chance of a first-time win; however, after seeing that a former $5,000 winner has just won another $500 I may enter again starting in 2014.

I think if prolific posters such as Joe Magarac, Tinare, and EveKendall post with greater frequency then they, too, could easily win $500. We have a lot of very bright, very helpful, and very informative people on our sub-forum.
