4 injuries are serious, but seems none are life threatening. What a shame this kind of crap happens. KDKA and WTAE are way ahead of Channel 11.

VERY true. Imagine all the deaths we would be reading about this morning if he had a gun! This is tragic, but it could have been MUCH worse if a gun was being fired all over the place.

What do you mean, "how did he manage that?". Do you have any idea what a situation like this would be like? A student that you see every day pulls out a knife and starts stabbing other students and you expect there to be some magical fast reaction? What if the first room has an elderly teacher or a more frail one? Do you think you could stop some kid running around with a knife? Also, the number 20 is an initial report. Does that mean some have a scratch? Not sure why it would be puzzling?

Seems it happened before classes started in the hallway. I would imagine the hallway would be so full of kids that most kids wouldn't even know what was going on if they were a few feet away. Probably looked like a fight at the beginning. Must have been crazy for the kids in that science wing.

Latest reports say at least 20 were injured and 7 are life threatening.

EDIT: Another source says 4 serious, others say none. Guess we have to wait and hear this officially as reports are all over the place.
