The link to the data I posted above is from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, so should be reliable (says national is 21.2%). I don't know it's currency though as it doesn't say date of data that I can see?

Here's more from last year - not Pgh specific though - In U.S., Smoking Rate Lowest in Utah, Highest in Kentucky. It says smoking rate nationally fell from 21.1 to 19.7 percent from 2008-13, so maybe Pittsburgh data above is from 2008? and maybe it has fallen since? Maybe not? We need more recent data, I guess, to be precise and not mix up our comparative numbers across different measurement points just to try and make a point

And I was wrong about Idaho - Kentucky folks smoke like chimneys ....

ive gone e-cigs and even then, I hardly even see people use that. Most prefer regular smokes.

ive seen a lot of hot/cute ladies that smoke. as a smoker I was all "yeah!"

now as an ex smoker im all "no!"
