Is Pittsburgh expecting to get a lot of visitors in town for the match?

The stadium is pretty big, I can't imagine that there are that many Manchester or Milan fans in the area. Pittsburgh doesn't have that many people from the UK or from northern Italy living in these parts, we just aren't that diverse.

I assume so. If you happen to be a fan of one of the teams it's cheaper to fly to pittsburgh & see them play then going to Europe & then trying to find available tickets.
I have a friend in Colorado that's a Liverpool fan that bought tickets to wherever they're playing here.

The Chelsea game they had at Heinz a few years ago was well attended.

Anyone from a country that's not the United States would probably be interested in seeing a real football match in Heinz Field. And Manchester United and AC Milan are like the Yankees of soccer, people all over the world follow them.

Man City not United playing - though in recent years, City is arguably more popular.

I would like to apologize in advance for the Milan fans, some of who will be staying at my house and corrupting my children by encouraging them to learn profanities.

As a born and raised Manchester City supporter, I will be there for sure. And please, no more mentions of the Scum (aka Man United) in this thread please.

I'll get tickets today. I was in the Pipers Pub last Saturday watching the City-Chelsea game and many locals were excited about this game, so hopefully it'll be well attended. In fact, two girls who had been there since the start of the USA-Russia hockey game were extremely enthusiastic to go to the game, players bedrooms, etc. it was a funny lunch time.

And it looks like they'll be excellent opportunities for traditional post game soccer riots and fights with AC Milan supporters in Squirrel Hill

I'd like to go. I'm not the biggest soccer (football) fan, but it would be fun to see two quality European teams for a day.
