Copa -- Buskey's is GONE??

Did they take down the little sign on the Turnpike that had been there forever?

Gas here at Costco (the best place for gas in the Bay Area) 2.86

Not really "reaching" too far at all. As long as gas remains significantly cheaper in the suburbs vs. the city (and even in some cases from city neighborhood to city neighborhood) I'm not letting this topic die. I've even altered my commutes home now from the office to fill up at the cheaper Squirrel Hill GetGo instead of stopping at the more expensive Shadyside GetGo.

I think the saddest part of this entire situation is that I just read an article saying that Americans are starting to buy new trucks and SUVs in droves again in response to the recent decrease in fuel prices, not realizing that increasing demand for gas will just drive those prices back up again!
Ah, Steel.... I remember feeling much the same way when I was younger. But I learned.

I've had people say I've given up and in a lot of ways I have -- I no longer tilt at windmills. When the world doesn't go along as I think I should, and I get all het up about it, what am I solving? Who am I hurting?

I am solving nothing, and hurting only me.

Recently moved back home to Richmond, VA where there is real grocery competition resulting in Kroger (whose regular stores are bigger than the fanciest Giant Eagle and are more comparable to Wegman's) having food at least 25% cheaper in most cases. Plus beer and wine and actual friendly staff. Also, gas is $2.53 and getting lower every day.

Pittsburgh. Is it worth it? I guess if you really love it, but it got old to me eventually.

Even though Kroger has long left this area, the tune is so engraved in my mind, I couldn't see wanting to go there even now.
