OP, I get what you're saying. Next time you see this don't bother with 911, call this number and ask to speak to Det. Mark Goob:

Narcotics 412-323-7761

This is the only resource I have used that has followed up on my complaints. I know with certainty the calls were acted upon.
Good luck

Meh, unless drug using/dealing is accompanied by other crimes or issues, I don't really care about it.

Yeah, drugs and "other crimes or issues" goes hand in hand on a daily basis.

Props to the OP for not turning a blind eye.

I'm not denying that, but it's not 100% of the time that drugs = other crimes. Compare it to alcohol or guns. They are involved in crimes on a daily basis too, but I don't really care if my neighbor has a fifth of vodka in his kitchen or a handgun in his night stand.

Perhaps you should think about the children that drugs affect rather than condoning it and turning a blind eye.

Guns and alcohol aren't in the OP's post.

I know plenty of people who take drugs and no one who engages in other criminal activity. Unless eating Doritos and ice cream is a criminal activity. it might be.

Though no one I know would be dumb enough to do their deal in a public place.

(I used to work at Tela Ropa back in the 90s and you know who loves weed? Doctors and nurses.)

If you avoid all areas that have drug problems ( or even where you saw one drug deal, as you did), you would be spending that money nowhere.

I'm betting you're not talking about off-white colored rocks as was described in the OP's post. Or are you?

Tela Ropa!!!...that is the second reference to that I have heard in 3 days....we used to drive down from IUP back in the day to go there. In an old box of college stuff, I actually just found my old tie-dyed wall hanging that I had in my apartment. Those were the days.

Ha! That was my between-college-graduation-and-getting-a-real-job job. I was the stockroom manager which was great except during the big UPS strike and our only supplier of whip-its would not (or could not?) ship any other way. Hospital employees love weed but they reaallllly love nitrous. I thought there was going to be a riot!
