I spent a bit more time listening to Iggy Azalea (ick!) and I just can't see how she's taken seriously as a rapper. I mean, her "flow" seems to be no better than Ke$ha, who everyone admits is just a pop star who raps sometimes.

Must be the "low end." Seems to be her best feature.

Nearly $150,000 of that was for that year’s Pride in the Street concert." Don't know what that accounts for, exactly.
Thank you. Everyone is throwing that figure around without any form of citation from what I've seen. 2013 would have been Adam Lambert if memory serves me correctly. I too am curious what all that figure accounts for.

She's probably appealing to teenaged white boys, who are the principal consumers of rap music- the same demographic that made Black Sabbath and the rest of the heavy metal genre popular when I was a kid.

The Jonas brothers are famous for hosing down their crowds with white foam, do you think it might be a hit?

OMG, now I'm going to have to go.

How long until he comes out, BTW? Seriously, Nick. Just do it. It'll be fine. You'll see.

I've wondered about all three of them, actually.

Does it really even matter whether it's $50k or $150k when their financial and community priorities as an organization are still clearly out of whack?

No, it isn't a joke. A woman from the parade organizers was on KDKA this afternoon congratulating herself for being able to get Mr. Jonas to perform on such short notice.
