I just paid $12 for one hour and six minutes at the garage by the Allegheny building on Friday.

Trust me I know, I parked in that lot not long ago and it was $5 for an hour. Yesterday it was posted $6 for 1/2 hour, $9 for 1/2 to 1 hour and $12 for up to 2 hours and 2 to 3 hours $15 then $18 for the whole day. I am guessing it is because the new ppg building opened up, that is the closest lot.

When parking downtown, be sure to park in the garages operated by the Pittsburgh Parking Authority. They are all clearly labeled and have a logo. Their rates are much lower than the private lots and garages.
