We did when we sold an HSA home warranty but really, it isn't much at all. Hardly enough to throw a few gallons in the tank and certainly nothing to upset a client over. We recently switched to AHS and I'm told the dollars are the same. But again, hardly enough to bother and I don't really see the difference between the two.

They do come in handy if used correctly. I've had clients had furnaces repaired, new appliances brought in and haven't really had any bad feedback. Well, there was one, but they didn't follow protocol. Rules state you must first call the warranty company to notify them of the problem. They'll find a connected provider to come deal with it. These folks called their own service provider who wasn't registered with the warranty company and then expected payment. Doesn't work that way.

Sellers should provide them. It protects their home while on the market and acts as a bonus for the buyer.
