As a TRUE world traveler and someone that has lived in other countries AND other states, I can tell you this. Pittsburgh has a TON of rainy days. For example, Florida cities might have actually more rain per year, but it comes in huge storms and during summer for an hour and it is heavy, but then it is sunny. The sunshine state. We get rained out for a long time. Light rain, but rain and cloudy. It causes depression.

Enjoy.

Thank you for recognizing that I am a world traveler and have worked and lived in many different areas!
This makes my argument even more impressive and accurate.

I think you need to reread my posts and learn.

Pittsburgh is a cloudy moldy rivervalley area that is extreme if you don't like damp cold dreary weather for 1/2 the year or really even more.

Hence I have homes around the world to enjoy.

You should yield.

Enjoy the day.

We're glad you're successful GG, but this statement does call to mind for me a classic "Looney Tunes" clip:

I don't know how "successful" I am. Sure financially okay, but I have plenty of things I want to do. I want to give back to Pittsburgh in the cycling arena, but with Gainty, I am not sure. Think I will wait a bit. Peduto ws good for us. He really progressed in healthy living.

Successful? I will have to think about that. I have plenty of failures. Part of me wants to just live alone and never talk to another person. Successful? Hmmm. Maybe in some areas. Don't know.

found this pic on facebook showing the entrance of chatham university circa 1905

according to weather.gov pittsburgh only received 30 inches of snow that year

https://www.weather.gov/media/pbz/records/hissnow.pdf

but they clearly made the most of it - back when you could have real fun and everything wasn't so automated and regulated

Wow, that is nice and introspective of you. Are you excited about the acquisition of the Brilliant line (not sure how long until the entire trail is ready though). I typically do a 3 - 4 hour training ride around the city, here is a collection of photos and videos from my rides during the past several months (mostly not political, but I did drop my Ukraine santa photo in here, although hoping you support the efforts to fund Ukraine's effort to fight Russia's unlawful war):

I dunno BPS, when you, in particular, share an old image like that, I tend to think of Jack Nicholson staring out from that spooky photo at the end of The Shining.

Nice video. Ukraine's leader could have prevented this war. I look at the war very much like when we invaded Iraq, except Ukraine is right on Russia's boarder and quite a bit of the country has Russians living in it, so we probably won't have as much in common on that issue. I don't condone war however, but can see both sides. The US will of course be fed a view that only sees one side as we are fed a lot of nonsense by the leftist media machine. Look what they did to Rittenhouse. Some people actually thing he is a racist and shot black people. He shot three white men in self defense. Amazing how powerful the media machine is, but look how far Hitler went with his followers. Shame people don't like to think much or question their feeds.
