Does anyone have any experience with these builders and their construction?

They're built Fields at Nicholson in Franklin Park area, and Avonworth Heights in Avonworth.

I'm trying to figure out if they're any better than the Ryan's/Heartlands/Marondas of the world.

Also, any idea how they compare in quality with S&A?

Don Sosso is basically a custom builder. The quality is much better than Ryan, Heartland and Mironda.

I would put S&A in the same category as the others you mentioned. A "cookie-cutter" builder.

Think about this............the builder has major expenses right off the bat, cost to buy property, cost to develop lots(electric, gas, water, sewage, etc.)cost to build the homes. How can the builder make a profit? On each house they build. They make the homes "look" pretty and in most cases they are bigger than smaller.

It's what is BEHIND the drywall that is important. Any house can be made to look nice the key is how is it structurally and mechanically.

Bigger "has" to be better right????..............NOT.

Just some thing's to think about when looking at cookie-cutter homes. Also, don't get fooled by the "model home" showing all the $$$Extras$$$.
