If things continue as they are, I think he will be remembered as an inexperienced academic and weak leader a la Jimmy Carter who pushed for anti-capitalist policies, huge debt, and huge government.

I think that is pretty accurate.

It is interesting that Pol Pot was a good intentioned law professor as well. Sometimes "hope" and "change" is just not enough to run a country. Being the POTUS is not a fairy dreamland, where academic theories and good intentions carry the day. We need a LEADER with EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE and one who is familiar with BUISNESS. We do not need another inexperienced academic with no executive or buisness experience peddling slogans. The banners and placards fade after about a year and reality sets in . Reality has certainly set in for Obama and it is not pretty.

Obama will be remembered as a punchline at best. But I think his cheap campaign slogans and his massive spending will awaken people to the problems that big government creates (such as this current economic meltdown). Accountability and responsibility will replace incumbency and pork in the future which will more than likely be BO's legacy.

Hopefully it will stir a revolution and maybe something good can come from the negativity of this inexperienced stammering sorry excuse for a leader.
